Abstract:Last year, as countries retreated into lockdown and economies suffered greatly as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the social protection community pulled together to establish and expand measures that could mitigate the impacts of the health crisis on the world’s most vulnerable populations. Leveraging this momentum, socialprotection.org ramped up its activities to offer knowledge and information that might orient more efficient policymaking in these difficult times. This report presents the results of an unprecedented year of work for the platform and the social protection community as a whole.
