The IPC-IG has partnered with GRM International, TNP2K, UNICEF and the Republic of Yemen to facilitate South-South learning through the dissemination of social protection innovations in Indonesia and the development of a survey called National Social Protection Monitoring in Yemen.

The Yemen National Social Protection Monitoring Survey (NSPMS) is a household longitudinal survey with a nationally representative balanced sample of 6,397 households (of an initial sample of 7,152). It was designed and implemented by UNICEF Yemen and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MOPIC) in collaboration with the International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth (IPC-IG/UNDP) and the local consultancy firm Interaction in Development.

Policy Research Briefs, publications and a Final Report on the National Social Protection Monitoring in Yemen. 

The Work Plan for 2014 comprised the delivery of: 

1. the dataset of the survey with documentation, including administrative data; 

2. the SWF impact assessment methodology including: estimation of SWF impacts on households and family members, and report tables; and 

3. the delivery of 3 Policy Briefs: “Out-of-School Children in Yemen: 2012/2013”; “Child Nutrition in Yemen: preliminary findings”; “Yemen’s Social Welfare Fund”; and 

The Impact Evaluation Report accompanying an Executive Summary of the Yemen’s NSPMS.
